One more question if i may:
-In realm vs realm how as a blackguard are you meant to approach it because obviously running into 400 enimes isnt going to work very well so how do you tackle it? Do you try and pick off strays or just hug your dps?
Thank you
Depends on spec, turtle BGs should absolutely be front line. 2h BGs feel like they missing something, though still fun and effective, which is why I make test abilities.
Dont get too excited, its mostly an intellectual exercise and it couldnt go to live without full client control anyway
Must you taunt us so, Torque? salivate.jpg
Onwards to client control!

I tried to not get too excited, but I failed...
IF this is going to be a thing, well maybe I was right to level up a 2H BG after all!

Jesus... if this is a thing... drool... would be nice if it was to become a watered down version of hold the line that is baseline to every tank. You get HtL for shield and group oriented play, and WoDS for selfish 2H play. Would be sweet. I'd even take a 25% increase parry/dodge/disrupt instead of 50%. Even by giving it to all tanks, it would still be mostly a IB/BG buff, as SM has better and all other tanks benefit too much from having a shield to go 2h.

OMG Torq that looks epic!
Also worth noting that, as a BG, you can solo any class in the game with a win ratio of at least 50%.

Hm, whats the plan against Wrath WP as BG? Feels pretty rough going up against em, even with the self heal in Anguish. Pretty similar to going up against a good melee dok as IB, except IB at least gets a decent KD in 2h.

I only remember going 1v1 against a WP in T3... it involved having such numbers of parry, few blocks, that eventually I just told the WP to stop trying to kill me circa after 5 mins lol.
Get toughness up, get parry up, maybe invest a bit in block to make it slightly less ridiculously low, and then keep AP draining and debuffing, challenge if you see an attempt to regen RF.
However, if the enemy is good and plays a healer.... you don't usually solo good healers.

Crushing anger + Choking Fury
The BG is the perfect counter to a melee WP, its almost like it was designed to specifically wreck them with malice.
In that build however you end up losing 30 parry from midtree, not to mention the lifesaving armour and crit-chance reduction defensive buff.
Whilst the detaunt ignoring is nice, other classes have easier access to outgoing healdebuffs, especially when in this case you lose a ridiculous amount of parry to get that healdebuff.
But yeah, it might work in some setups, maybe in 1v1.
But for groupplay you probably want that parry from midtree so that you can parry most of your guard dmg.
Whilst right tree looks good on paper, it is IMO subpar compared to the possibilities that the other two speciality trees offer. The crit increase tactic is pretty much must have if you want to get out some actual damage, and the mid tree is what allows you to be actually "tanky". Resulting in the "anti-Magic" tree becoming somewhat less needed. Unless your group has other needs covered and needs you to specialize in hunting down Brighties and dps AMs.

i hope not.... wont like any mirror to sm channeling, it would be cooler fix the parry tactic to provide all you need and remove the disrupt tactit from 3rd mastery (since no block based tank + need multiple tactic for base avoidance + no dodge ...) put it like 40% parry /20% dodge+disrup, that way both 2h and s+b would be equal and base mitigation would be fore base, let aside htl or nsp.
that would also avoid having a bad animation...

Does Enraged Beating suffer from the same issue the other tank "channels" do? Such as losing AA during the channel? Such as Myrmidia's Fury on Knights?
