That's odd then. I find very little fps drops unless I'm in big fights and we have very similar builds other than the GPU. I can't say if a 1080 will fix your problems or not. It's not like your 970 is ancient.

Hey folks,
got an i7-6700K with 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA 1080GTX (inno3D iChill x3) and Warhamemr Online is installed on my SSD (Samsung).
Currently i play on 1920x1080 and my OS is Windows 10.
Additionally I've upgraded war.exe with a 4GB patch (I've found here in framerate improvement threads on the forum).
Though I'm holding all my drivers up to date.
At keep sieges I usually got no frame droprates.
Only at fights/keep sieges with an extreme amount of players ( ca >600) on one map results in drops down to around 10 fps for about 1-2 sec.

Stronger GPU will benefit you just as any other component. When I played this in 2k8 I could not run this above medium and have a good time. Today I run it on max and I see there is still room for improvement. You have to keep in mind, parts of performance with all mmo's are related with your network speed as well. Also, turning off your virtual memory will help.

Thx for info Zaru.
I used win 7 64 or a long time, last month I convinced my self to win 10.
I did test last night, unpluged gtx 970 and used build-in Intel graphic (530), same stutters after login in and after changing map. Also, what is wierd, same FPS

(60 - 70ish) looks like RoR dont see a difference between intel graphics and gtx 970:)
