No he means the other way around, to convert from conq seals to officers medallions so you can buy annihilator gear fasterDaknallbomb wrote:If u do that many ppl have full domi and conq Instant..mursie wrote:please implement a 5 to 1 down convert of conq to officer on both the emblem and medallion currency. Re: Yet Another Conq Thread
I played a lot after Conq release.
So far my WE has circa 150 conq medal, maybe a third of them from soloplay, rest from roaming with guild party/wb.
That is the yield from 2 weeks of more or less dedicated t4 playing.
With current estimations I might finish the set in 10-15 weeks unless I suffer from mental breakdown first or just quit playing.
The RNG/"contribution" system heavily favours dps classses:
"dem loots" so far:
-2 gold bags (double body piece, yay?!)
-2 purples bags (cloak + dagger)
-4 blue bags (just need one last piece of Genesis...)
-maybe 5 greens, not sure if I even make a mental note upon winning the "Green" bag

Use the LFG channel. Be open about what you can offer and just learn your class with time. Just say "Tank LF orvr/SC group" - that's a good way to meet people and ultimately find a guild. If people like playing with you and you're unguilded you will likely be offered or at least questioned on itBrownStar wrote:Well I do have a 40/43 BO with Anni/ruin and a 40/33 chosen running full ruin. Of course Guard is a priority but I am not the best at swapping guard in the heat of battle. What's a good way to connect with a guild?

Apologies for missing the previous explanation, do you have a link for that?Torquemadra wrote:technical constraints, code has to be written, as explained previously.mursie wrote:please implement a 5 to 1 down convert of conq to officer on both the emblem and medallion currency. And please forgive the following naivety, but in the game their currently already exists a down convert option at the vendors - it's just currently set at 1 to 1. One officer medallion for 1 conq. Is this extremely difficult to tweak that code to award 5 for 1. If so - that is just mind boggling.
Re: Yet Another Conq Thread
Thanks for the response.
I'd be happy to code that for you if necessary. Just let me know.

Re: Yet Another Conq Thread
I think it was more easier to get the sovereign/doomflayer/warpforged on live instead the new conqueror. And definitely better to play in 2-3(ranged dps - guard bot - pocket healer).

Re: Yet Another Conq Thread
since i play my dok more frequently again i've got 3 conquerer medallion's from a loot bag so far. none from fights. mostly played in open wb's for about 2 weeks now (yes ~14 days). seems to me that, as a healer, ganking is the only way to get a decent number of them.

hmm, 3 medals in 2 weeks... and the set costing what, 1800 medals, you only need to play 1200 weeks further. I mean, if you can complete the set within the next two decades, I don't see any issues.lafrot wrote:since i play my dok more frequently again i've got 3 conquerer medallion's from a loot bag so far. none from fights. mostly played in open wb's for about 2 weeks now (yes ~14 days). seems to me that, as a healer, ganking is the only way to get a decent number of them.

I mean I like challenges, but I also realize I have some sort of gaming addiction... and if I play 4-8 hours a day, and end up maybe with 10-15 medals when playing Dps in the zergfest of T4 fighting over last hits on targets that may drop medals... I'm close to simply having a crisis regarding whether to keep playing at all. (all whilst participating in a lottery where 1-2 people out of 300-400 hundred may win a Gold Bag unless its a 10 h zergfest of running circles in KV)
Yeah, I get it, some people will play regardless of T4 drop rates, but for some people like me who like achieving stuff like finishing gear grinds or hitting rank this or that, the current medallion draught in T4 orvr is beyond masochistic. As someone said before, getting Warpforged gear on live felt easier than the current Conq grind.
Part of me wants to keep grinding those medals, part of me realizes that it's sheer lunacy in its current form. If I hadn't my current addiction to this game, I would have just quit already.
