Literally delete the cache folder in the War directory. I haven't deleted the cache folder ever since I started RoR so the increase in load times and performance was some what noticable.

Delete the cache folder (selected on screen) and run the game normally.

GL all, my 2c added to the heap of advice...

I found that the framerate tweak the best of the bunch, as well the not joining of WB's with scenario ques...
Target names is a big one as well, I think.
I haven't tried the quests stuff but very interesting I'll try that too.. I haven't experienced many crashes myself though, since just doing the basics already.

And no issues here with WCST to my knowledge it works great.
thx

The issue WSCT has is when it has to display a lot of text on the screen at the same time. Situations where there's a lot of incoming damage and buff/debuff changes so it has to display a lot of stylized text (and I'm not sure if it's capable of display non-stylized text).

If you use conservative WSCT settings in terms of what is displayed you can mitigate that.

I don't have any issues with WAR crashing (except for post any patch in Altdorf market square ofc). I do have the issue of not being able to run the game at high graphic settings in keep situations (with a good rig). The game engine sucks :(

I think I will work up the list a little and ask a gm to make it sticky.
