U need reduce TTK, not increase.

Trivial blow, Group resolute defences, Quick Escape abd group anticrits - and you will be able to open RvR not only for zergs.
Zergs can't use any of those things? Or did you mean "...and you will be able to open RvR more easily against terrible PUGs"?

Seems way too early for this conversation when we don't even know what are the changes for the next tier of sets.

Playing tank and healer is a thankless task already, why encourage even more people to play DPS classes. You've gone full Tesq mate.
TTK is fine if not too long in proper groups, but I guess most people play in mish mash pug groups. Lowering TTK, and specifically getting rid of the crutch of overpowered armor stacking actually makes it more pertinent that healers position themselves well, and their group moves (peels) for them and adjusts for situations rather than relying on get out of jail free cards like RD/CW etc... or relying on cheesing mechanics like armor stacking and blowing yourself up to heavy armor from cloth.

People do actually want faster paced combat that absolutely does in every sense punish bad play, but already seeing the reaction in here I and anyone that would want this can already see it's going to be fruitless to push for. People who had their crutches and cheesy mechanics on live that they could use to gain an advantage over bad players or players who simply didn't take advantage of them and the meta min-max will shill to the death to keep this stuff in game.

Don't misunderstand me either, and think I am saying the game is doomed or will be trash with or without these things... I just find myself in the camp that would prefer most skillful/throughout game play instead of reliance on cheese as a crutch to holdup bad play.

I do not see the issue with tanks stacking armor. It is a choice they make in favour of groupsplay. Getting all armor or toughness talismans just means you will fall short in the damage department and vica versa.

You asked the same exact question in the state stabilization thread and got an answer from 4 different people.

I was just reading it back. Still think people should be free to decide how to fill their slots tho.

I'm just not terribly concerned about DoKs being too tanky when 95% of them do nothing but spam group heal like a scrubby bum anyway.

A bunch of semi sentient heal kegs

This discussion belongs in the Balance forum, and OP already made a new proposal there. Therefore, I am locking this thread.
