Instead of producing many posts, get into a game, check how appearance tab work and then report here if that is what you mean or not.

Problem is, I have checked the hud and multiple windows (as I usually do, to learn what's where) but I couldn't find that, that's why I am asking

Perhaps someone could post an image of how it looks like.

Its the same mechanic as AoC, but not all items are available to be used as a "fashion" armor, just the ones who said them can.

I haven't been online for a while....

Update: I logged in today. And yeah, it is like AoC...not bad...EXCEPT the fact that you destroy the item...

You do not destroy any items that are used for appearance. Or do you mean that you destroy the item in AoC?

I'm pretty sure when I dragged the item to appearance (RoR), it said the item won't be able to be removed? Or something of sort.

You really should exercise some careful reading. What it says both when reapplying and removing is "The current appearance will be lost." What this means is that you cannot go back to the old appearance unless you drag the item with that appearance into the slot again. It's a warning in case you had some piece of gear set as an appearance but you no longer own it (you sold it or salvaged it).

So no items are destroyed.
