400 ping is horrible and a game based on pvp is even worse.
It's not that bad when connecting from australia ... and classic MMOs are generally more forgiving than FPS and "action MMOs" if you have a high ping.
Also the "almighty low-ping" is not the only important factor (packet losses, high jitter on the line) and ICMP packets are just for connection tests, it's no "real" traffic.
In the past i had a lag free connection to the server, if i had a routing with a slightly higher ping.

The server Ip is not hidden and can be found easily with 2 methods:
-1: start warhammer, connect to the server. open cmd and type in: netstat -n
All current connections will be listed. the server ip will be marked as "aktive"
-2: open your warhammer folder. open the file: "mythloginserviceconfig" with notepad. The server Ip is found in line 16.
The port is found in line 17.

The Ip is: 178.32.58.46 and uses port 8040 and 10622.

To test your ping, open cmd as admin and type in: ping 178.32.58.46 -t
Let it run for a few minutes and then type in ctrl+c to see your ping results!

This little guide should help anyone who wants to test their connection.

Hey mate being from Australia I can tell you the server is playable. If you don't want to notice is as much play a range DPS. As a melee dps you are going to get target out of range a lot and it sucks.

Also if you want to play melee play order, destro have much bigger character models and they are much easier to hit. Destro also have less AOE snares on tanks so you want be snared 100% of the time.

Healing your cast bar sticks at the end of every cast for like 1-2 seconds so play a Dok/WP as they have shorter cast times and it is less noticeable.

These are just some things I have noticed while playing take them as you will.

WTFast works although it's a little dodgy getting the game to connect sometimes. But once you are connected it works great.
The server's in London.
