I've always been a fan of food. I love the 30 minute meals of homemade pasta and meat sauce. I enjoy almost every food there is, but don't really like cucumbers, squash, and chocolate.

What if we removed all cucumbers, squash, and chocolate from the world because I don't like it. This would mean that everyone gets to enjoy all the GOOD food in the world. It would force those normally eating cucumbers, squash, and chocolate to eat something else and this would raise the level of how good food is because everyone will be eating similar food and get better at preparing it.

Also, I've never like dirt bikes. I enjoy autos, trains, and street bikes, but dirtbikes are too loud and serve no real purpose. Let's all agree to remove them from the world too.

Same for me.
Yes, PvE isnt for all but i like it.
This PvE is for farming, crafting so its content for this Game.
Same for SC to farm and play and get weapons and armor, so again content for the game.

So i disagree completely with the Starterpost.

Remove the world and how would it be warhammer. Not to be unfair but if this game didnt have the ip it would never have kept the few players it did. There are so many issues with rvr design and balance that without the ip and lore keeping individual expression everyone would just run around on doks and wp.

Scenarios are great because they are tight, small scale battles. They don't give all the rewards of orvr but they also don't require as much of an investment. It's easier to get a group together and have fun in SCs than to get a warband together for rvr, especially if you are in a small guild or in a non-EU time zone. Even if you're in a SC where you are getting crushed, it's only for 5-15 minutes, as opposed to when orvr is one-sided and you end up waiting for an hour or more to get loser points. Most of the SC maps are pretty balanced (I said -most-) as opposed to a lot of the orvr maps which can be kind of wonky. There's a lot of variety of strategy in SCs because of how many there are and thus how many different ways there are to get SC points, so you're not doing the same stuff over and over again no matter what zone you're in.

Did I leave out any of the ways SCs are better than orvr?

while i agree pvp and rvr should be the focus, PVE and Dungeons have their right in Warhammer, it will help to keep players busy and atract more players alltogether.

And as mentioned: pvp and pve are done by different teams anyway. you lose nothing from pve being developed.

Besides: playing dungeons in a group will strengthen pvp too as people learn to play together. (e.g. lords mechanics can be learned :)

You want all topics locked?

Generally locking only when its needed due to risk of flame getting too large or if its a request that simply wont happen.
