Guards are nice. Just half rent prices for keeps, please.

ye it end most ppl like more pre 1.4.0 system, about guards or not you can simple add kill and claim system to keep leaving untouch 1.4.0 system, so if ppl want guard there are no problem doing it.
I also vote for guard, keep need some protection, just maybe dont put 1 hero and 5 champions, or if you do that make their level = max level in that zone or it will become bothersome tank them.

guards are good, but:
Remember one situation where as order we had big aao, but we managed to broken gate. Destro defended the lobby for about 2 hours when me as WH has managed to keep the rear gate and invisible take the flag.If there was a lord of keep, we never had chance for victory. Destro last 2-3 years had more ppl.

Ye this was due to being solo, if more dps ninja back door that would be more easily, btw it's not right that 1 wh claim a keep ...... guards are fine, group of melee can ninja and take keep or all party can crush main door.
You cant pretend to take a keep alone this is not fair, and not logic, this is way most ppl want guards back, and repairable door for inner.
Then remember that until main door is down you cannot take the keep, before was possible thx to guards, i like more being able to assasinate keep lord and take keep than take down a door and then being able to ninja the flag....
As side note there was a 10 sec requirement for cap flag that was increased to 30, i'd like to have it set to 30 that was a good change indeed.
Btw with less ppl you should been able to take opponents keep, it's a common war logic, you need number if not, you have your keep wall, defend your self and farm other realm.
KN/KA order used a lot this tacitc and took good result for them as getting lot of renow, loots, fun, and those things get high gear, in fact order was always faster to get better gears than destro.

a MUST before Tier 2

I disagree on those and would love to have Guards back, they actually made sure you could defend something without the underdog always loosing.

And you really think, that you should be able to take a defensive position without higher numbers or at the very least similar numbers?

Let's say you are defending a keep.

If you are outnumbered (AAO): Guards spawn.

If you outnumber your attacker: No guards spawn.

If you want to attack a fortified place, you need up to twice the number of people defending.

Basic war stuff since the Antiquity.
