Almost 3 years now

Well, I just started a little over a month ago and am loving it. I cannot wait to see how this game improves from here as well. Thanks again devs for all your dedication and hard work!

I love the devs for bringing this game back, never can say that enough, never.

The last 26 hours of AoR were a marathon game session for me, and there were tears in my eyes when the shutdown happened at 6:00pm EST on Dec 8, 2013. I remember people kept playing till the server shut down, fighting and emoting each other, refusing to log out.

Then in late Feb or early march of 2014 Dyox put up his server and I screamed for joy. I made my WH again, logged on ... and was immediately killed by destro exploiters who were spawn camping Order spawn ... and I laughed my ass off!!!!

That server did not last long, but along came AZ and his group in late Spring of 2014 and I have been on here since then.
I know I am not a fan of the new game (because this WAR is not the WAR I fell in love with), but please never consider me ungrateful.

I didn't stick around with WAR when they released the renown cap increase. Life was getting too busy for me.

Dang my lack of persistence, I actually rolled a toon on the early Dryox server and when it shut down I figured it WAR was dead for good. Just found out about this incarnation and started over Thanksgiving weekend. Now I am playing catch up again and I absolutely love it. I was pretty much in the same boat on live since I started WAR November of 2009.
Anyway, it pains me a bit that anybody would give anything but props to the devs for their amazing dedication to this great game. We are all the beneficiaries of their immense talent and efforts. I for one am extremely grateful for the privilege of being able to smash orc noggins again and hope that the devs realize that the vast majority of players are truly appreciative and hopefully they can forge ahead with the project with that knowledge.

That is my biggest fear. Nothing will drain motivation for a project faster than negativety. Please keep up the good work guys, I apologize for the sad sad humans who excel at inspecting the horses mouth so to speak. Must be a sad existence they lead.

I was there, 3 years ago, and I'm still with this awesome game, so 8 years soon!
And I so happy and grateful that I can still play it.
maybe I don't like all changes but I want thanks all Devs, especially Aza for great work, for their time and heart put into this game!

I wasn't there for the shut down.:/ I was trying to redownload/install it, but time ran out before I could finish the download. (We had really slow/bad internet)
I was kind of irritated that I missed the end for a few years, and floated from game to game, until I found out about a WAR private server. I had never played on a private server before, but I loved the warhammer setting, characters, and really everything so much that I gave it a go, back when the game only had T1 and T2. I'm extremely grateful that the developers brought this game back from the dead.

So thank you.

my last AoR experience was bad, WB train running around KV to flank bigger zerg, hide in keep when bigger zerg get near. they didn't want to attack keep. neither one was able to get flank so they kept circle running like 10 mins
finally when one side decided to stop running and fight back the battle lasted 30 sec
I thought if same thing goes on 6~8 times to open city siege? byebye

RoR is much better than AoR to me
when devs erased def bag, oil rp there was a lot of complain but that was first time i got faith in devs. they know how to make game better and so far i like all the changes some i even love( frontline WP )
