I also want to say, that I am extremely glad that someone with access to that tool is "enjoying" RoR. There are so many live resources that have fallen to disrepair, or just gone. And that builder still sees tons of use. So cool to know they are still playing as well.

On the point? Aza already said it. Roll a zealot. Healing wasn't supposed to be that easy or boring. Offer your opinion on how to fix em. Everyone hates rolling back to how it was. Stay The Course!

For the record, I love my Z. 2nd Favorite healer from any MMo. Hpriest in RO is my fav:)

The changes to DPS DoKs is possibly the best thing I've seen. I have all but abandoned my Chosen in groups now and it's a much more interesting playstyle. I feel like I am contributing on my DoK now whereas before, just like my Chosen, I felt like I was a passive supporter.

My ONLY gripe is that in pure DPS mode, my HoTs and casted heals are so weak, I wish they were a little better, but I also know

When Im on my tank I do seem to spend 90% of my time now in a melee train centered around a wp. It does seem to have replaced one absolute with another which I though was the point. I do think the other healers need something to make the cloth healers the main healer.

I agree that WP is FoTM class right now and anyone with a 40 DoK is playing it more because of the alt spec fun. IMO the classic backlines healers are still very much in demand. Main healing a 6 man as a DPS DoK (even with 2 of them) would be very challenging IMO. If anything, it has made Guard decisions more meaningful and challenging. We almost always run with a Zlt or Shammy as main heals and the DPS DoK as burst heals with rend soul and group heals with TE. For me, it's almost at the point where I feel like I'm nerfing myself by using TE because the heals are OK, but the dip in damage hurts my scoreboard epeen. But.. you gotta keep em alive....

What's funniest to me about this is that I can't see a single way the optics of this look good for Washette. Without the smallest dash of self-awareness the thought process must have been:

"I, a person who plays neither an Engineer nor a DoK, will use this platform I haven't updated or maintained in two years to complain about changes I haven't tested instead of commenting in any of the three open forum threads about them. Surely that will be the thing to change their minds!"

But alas, the only thing he made the staff realize is that they hadn't done enough work to promote and thank his superior competitor Turino for http://ror.builders.

Mythic removed a class, the devs here brought it back. I've been destroyed by melee doks all week, whole groups have been wiped by one, but **** me if I don't like the fact that they are at least what they are meant to be for once, not healing stationary tanks.

Next stop - blackguards with a halberd, SWs that can melee and runepriest/zealot buffers and debuffers!
