Trump seems to be promising to stop globalism. Not understanding that capitalism already has the answer to that. Dont buy cheap foreign goods. Trump has no more power to change capitalism that those voting for him. They just find it easier not to take responsibility. Which is ironic considering its republicans that promote personal responsibility while Trump promises socialism which Americans were meant to despise. The cognitive dissonance in modern politics is something the pollsters just cant get their heads around because they live in a world of order and systems while regular people no longer believe in anything.
