Its a real shame, I've lost contact with almost everyone that I played with on live. Theres a few faces that have popped back up, but for the most part its the oceanic folks I played with - none of the NA ones.

It's like UmmOK said, it's a compounding effect where new players in NA come to the server only to be greeted by a dead t2-3 and they wash out unless they have help from established players/guilds. Only the most hardcore players stick around.
It will get better, just very slowly. Only way around it I can see is to give new account a fresh level 32 w/ greens or something and just bypass the lower tiers altogether. But people will complain that these players won't know how to play their class etc...

Tons of reasons why NA is low. From server ping, to the fact that war hammer has never been that big this side of the Pond(it was what? Early 2000s when we even got an American version of White Dwarf?), the obvious Order bias(jk), the extended downtime lost us a bunch of players as well... Plus a dozen other reasons I could think of if my brain was functioning atm...
At the end of the day, when I started this server, we had less that 150 online total during NA prime time. It has steadily grown since. The downtime cut into that, but we're still growing... We do have a bunch of newer players on NA as well. I'm constantly running into people on lowbie mains....

To be honest, I didn't know RoR existed until about a month maybe 2 ago. I am sure others will come in time. Just wish I had more time to play and be involved. Any way, I'm just one of the newbie NA players with my T2 main still getting established.

Wrong again.
Europe, not EU. Russian Federation or United Kingdom is not a member of EU.
Games Workshop in general are far more popular in Europe other than NA.
As for this topic. Yes, there are some shortages of NA players, but I think it's a cultural reason to why.
by eu i mean europe in general
dont play semantics with me boy

Why would WoW have anything to do with it. WoW existed before this game, after it failed in the public, and still does. Or are you saying the newish expansion stole the na player base?

What cultural reason?
Americans don't like violence.

You're joking right? That's pretty amusing considering that in comparison to most other countries, we tend to be the opposite. Pro-violence, but easily offended by nudity / sexuality as far as laws & censorship of media goes. Many EU countries have a much more laidback attitude towards nudity, but are very anti-violence in their media.
