downloaded the client again but still doesn't work and the launcher works. i just have a black screen except UI so i can choose a server and create a character (random, i can't see it). And when i try to play, the game crash in the loading screen for the starting zone. Any ideas?

I believe this is the client's fault if when you start a brand new char it still doesn't work. Redownload, unblock with antivirus ETC ETC do all the needed steps.
