While the game wasn't balanced for duels (those last two words are unnecessary, ), as long as people go into duels knowing this to be the case and not complaining about 1on1 balance, it should be OK.

Look,first of all,dueling isn't an WoW thing(you can duel in A LOT of mmos).
Second,duels are harmless to the game,you won't gain renown,you won't level by dueling,you will only have some fun....that's all about.....we know this game isn't balance around 1vs1,so decent player won't rage when they'll got their ass kicked by some x class....

Why i want duels so bad in a game like WaR(this is my reason,maybe you have other reasons) is because when i played this game,i rememberd i had to wait with my friends in q for 4-5 min sometimes,and during that time,THERE WAS NOTHING TO DO,literally,you just watched each other and spam space button.If duels were in the games,we could duels 2-3 times before we go into the scenario.

If the gms could find a way to add duels in this game,i don't see why they shoudn't

I don't wanna spend 4-5 day to level a chaos character just to duel my order brother's character,i want to do a white lion vs white lion,or slayer vs slayer,x vs x, because,there is nothing more fun in a game than FRIENDLY COMPETITION

You say that as if there couldnt be any friendly competition with people from a different realm. Funny, because some of the best friends i made in WAR were order (i played a Black Orc). A particular Sword Master comes to mind; we must have dueled a bazillion times (he was the last duel i had on Dec. 18th before WAR shut down).

You can get to level 10 in 5 hours, easily, just by grinding mobs. Boring? maybe... but you will make enough gold to buy at least a piece of nice gear (i got a blue BO helmet from the AH at 1 gold last night). Gearing is not as hard as many people seem to think.

Just because you want a slayer vs slayer fight doesnt mean the game should be changed. Dueling wasnt allowed in original WAR and, afaik, the priority in RoR is to make this game as close to the original as possible. So i bet dueling isnt even on the list of things to do.

tl;dr: Make a choppa and duel your brother's slayer.

They never implemented duelling for 2 reasons.

First the game was never meant to be balanced to duels or very smallscale fights. It was balanced around groups and warbands.

Secondly they wanted people to go fight the enemy none this poncy epeen duelling. Make your name where it counts out in the lakes. I once soloed around pragg for 4 hours to get 200 kills to 9 deaths most of those duels some 2 or 3 v 1s. Chased down by warbands a couple of times. You want a duel they arent hard to find.

Really if you want to duel over rvr. This is literally the worst game for you. RVR was WAR.
