Name change for character

I have a SS from Skype where the person mentioned in this thread freely admitted she got a name change just by asking a certain GM. Will provide it to the team if they ask me to (won't post it here).

I really think the fair thing to do is change Bunnii back to Antivenom (the original name) since, as both wargrimnir and Natherul have said, you don't do namechanges on request. Maybe someone wasn't aware of that rule... It's ok, mistakes happen and honestly a name change isn't that of a big deal. The issue is that when you tell your playerbase that something won't happen, yet a certain few benefit from it, it doesn't feel right. But now we know namechanging isn't done for anyone (unless the name is offensive, ofc), so if the name is reverted then this thread can be closed and we can all act like nothing happened.

The ability for players to change a character's name will be included in the next patch.

Stipulations:

- One character per account per month may have its name changed.
- Accounts which have ever been banned will not be allowed to use the system and would need to make a request of a GM, which would not be prioritized.
- Renown Rank 40 is required on the destination character.

The server has a memory of name changes to avoid players abusing them to duck punishments.

Now some sad dwarfs and RP players can change their name later to be more on Guildline with names and such. Or players Who thought something funny but find it later too boring.

With Renown 40, and once a week we wont see it often on a char which is also keept it under controll.

Could name-changing services be available in the future? As some of us roleplay and develop our characters, the names we chose at first don't always fit. I'd hate to delete and remake a character I've spent quite a while on, although for the sake of a better name, I do debate it.

Let me know when you change your name since you stole my Karak-Norn name
