Welcome back.
What is zone 0 if i may ask?
I had this strange thing occur today that all of a sudden i was like in space or something and only my action bars and unitframes etc where visable but not my character.
Off the map area, doesn't have a zone ID. When the client bugs out it sometimes will drop you there. Sometimes you fall endlessly, sometimes you're swimming, sometimes you can wander the bottom of the abyss.
It's a place where you can't even hear gods scream.

I'm having a good time, but not a great time - because I've crashed three times already (game got so stuck I had to force-shut down my laptop each time). Twice of which was near the end of a victorious Scenario. :'(

I actually don't think it's server related (may be wrong though) so any advice on how to improve this? :)

Those random crashes seem to be happening a lot on some machines, while others never have problems. Most likely they are caused by Bad packets. I don't know why some ppl have a lot more trouble than others. Keep your drivers updated, keep your PC clean and don't run too high graphics Settings is the only advice i can give^^

Unfortunately, that could very well be the case. While I play on a laptop, it is up to date (bought about two years ago - so it should be able to run an 8 year old game at lowest settings imo). :D I was also above average in costs and had a focus on gaming (though admittedly it's not a PURE gaming laptop).

However, about a year ago I started having problems with games crashing - generally due to overheating the machine. Blowing out the dust hasn't helped one bit. Even games that ran fine before now are highly problematic. I didn't think it would be the case here (since it's a private version with some private version problems and it's such an old game) but I guess the problem lies with my hardware, indeed. :(

EDIT: I'm kinda fed up with this situation and my finances are now more flexible than they were a year ago so imma make work of it - but it'll be some time before I'm joining you for realz. But I'll be with you in spirit! :D

Try playing on fastest framerate, that helped a bit for me when I was using my laptop ( I still crashed once every 3-4 hours though) and I had to keep reloading UI frequently/restarting the game due to fps lag issues. However I think laptops have issues with the game in general, I definitely had some issues when I was playing on mine. I guess it has to do something with how laptops have some overheating prevention mechanics and RoR/Warhammer sometimes keeps overloading memory.
