Those points weren't pertaining to skull but rather that a BO doesn't face a lot of armor if assisting a marauder, using m1 and with decent ws - allowing him to actualise his increased critical dmg to its potential. Lack of tb helps too.

Honestly, as it sits most classes are quite balanced. I can't think of one class that is "underpowered." The perception of being underpowered typically comes about when someone specs into a hybrid spec as opposed to staying true to their archetypal role, which by game design will have more advantages in a group setting, and typically will contain the tools to take down their preferred archetype, as well as better utilization of equipment stat matrices, etc.

Every single class in the game has a counter of one form or another for enemy archetypes. The only pitfall is if, say, you want to kill anyone solo as a tank; you would most likely spec defensive, get all the cc you're able to, etc. and you just accept that your damage output will be far lower (especially spike damage) than a hybrid spec dps tank, even though you prefer the play style of a dps tank.

I can explain archetype counters by class if anyone needs help finding out how to kill those pesky SH and shammies, just say the class you are and the one you wanna kill.

You can't really say any class is best, medium, or worse in a vacuum.

Especially basing it simply on "Best" ST/AoE DPS/Healing and survival. Best against what? In what situation? 6v6, 6vx, 6man SCs, wbvwb wbvx, etc. Different area's can prefer different set-ups. And a class can be built in a multitude of ways, so where 100 knights are god awful at DPS, one is heavily specc'd for it, and in a party that supports it and so does great...

You are also forgetting to rank classes based on Utility(ie buff/debuff/CC/etc) which in some circumstances is more important than "Straight Damage Yo!"

Well, an argument could be made for a BG running anti-detaunt tactic and comparing him to any other tank (even SM/BO) hitting an unguarded target who uses detaunt (specifically AoE detaunt, since those who only have a ST one will most likely use it on a DPS enemy anyway). In this very specific situation, the BG does more damage than the other tanks.

KotBS on the other hand...

edit: Unless we are talking about DPS in it's most literal meaning (ie. "damage per second"). In this case, a KotBS running All Out Assault/On Your Guard can definitely be up there (it is not rare to see screenshots where KotBS has like 150k damage). However, don't expect them to do much killing.
