While the response is tough. If you check the renown ranks and compare that to who mans the siege. You will see as stated its the same few

I don't play for the glory of defending the realm, I play for the glory of ME and seeing purple numbers go by on my screen. (Yes I stop playing maxed out toons and go to an alt when I no longer make RR).

As for the few that camp the siege.... let them!
They sit around all day in one zone waiting for an attack, protecting their siege by staying mounted and keeping it in tow so that the timer does not kill it. Meanwhile you are out there fighting and making RR. At the end of the day, YOU out there fighting, make more RR than the guy sitting at the keep.

Cutting off RR to people that use siege is punishing people for helping to defend a keep.
So if I have a wb and take the Wb to defend the keep, and I get 6 of my people on Oil and Siege .... these 6 people will not make RR but everyone else will?
Where is the sense in this? Where is the logic? Where is the fairness? No RR for one quarter of my wb ..... because some jealous mimmi is complaining that people on siege make easy RR??? Get a LIFE! Stop complaining about someone making more RR than you!

I agree with Mordread. You NEED siege. That's the whole point of sieging. You don't zerg keeps and castles. It's the stupidest thing ever. Siege counters zergs. It gives few players the chance to hold off a warband til more people arrive to defend. I've held off against all odds for about 2 hours straight in a T3 keep by strategically directing artillery fire and the infantry. Order had a severely pyrrhic victory indeed that day. That's the whole reason its in the game. If you think siege shouldn't be used, then you might as well just take them all out, rams included. Let's all just melee doors. Let's just melee period. Who needs defense or any depth and strategy. It'll turn into whoever has the biggest zerg.

This is by far the BEST change the dev's have made since I started playing on the private server.

Truth is almost every time we are on a keep defense and oil is able to be placed as we are shield walling our outer/inner door certain people(take a look at the top RR players list lol) will place the oil to kill 3-5 people rather than hold back 2 wb of the enemy. We then proceed to lose the keep due to these trolls lol. I'm sure order has people like this as well.

Those certain people(again check the top rr list) true RR is probably around 35 maximum since all they do is run solo and ruin our keep defense on a regular basis. Those are the only individuals you should be upset with

Now siege is a true tool and these fellas will slowly fall away from the top RR list and I personally think they will quit the game....they never contributed to the faction anyway so pz out have a nice life.

More and more I respect the people working on this game.

So basically you are saying that you are jealous that people make RR faster than you. Right? You will destroy the game because YOU do not make RR?

No this is not the best change. Tell me, with out siege you cant kill rams. Who will work siege and make NO RR, while you make yours?

As I write this .... RIGHT NOW...Order is trying to take Zims hold in CW. Both doors down, but destro WB has outer blocked.

NO ONE IS USING SIEGE to help break the block... no one. Why? No RR... so no one wants to miss out on RR.
Destro are not using siege to stop Order. Why? No RR... no one wants to be on siege and not make RR.

How much simpler do I need to explain this?

Given how hard it is to even get gold now with THIS added on top i for one will NOT be buying ANY siege gear while things are as they are.
