The point is that it's possible it's different for mobs/players (though I doubt it). As I said, I already know it varies with mobs, unless it's changed very recently.

the chance is a thing the crit damage is another one of course if the base damage vary it vary also the crit, every mob have different stats based on the rank.

So of course look at base damage first. But for what i know there aren't rng in combat formula or it got sneaky changed idk

Base crit damage was changed a few months ago based on the info provided by annaise; before it was flat +50%, now it's random +40% - +60% like it was on the mythic server.

Thanks for the info. Was there a thread/report about it you can link? I don't remember it being like that on AoR (including towards the end) but could easily be wrong.

There was an earlier one, but i can't find it atm.
I remember variable crits too when i made DPS tests on the mythic server, i didn't remember the increased percent values though.

Ah I was hoping for a vid or sth, but thank you for the link. I'm still surprised by what you forget sometimes tbh, especially things like this that would've been easy to see at the time
