Launcher won't start itself

Hi Elven,

I'm new on this project. I did all the steps, create an account download the client, install DirectX, load the launcher, put it in the folder , uncheck the read only, run as admin, but the launcher just wouldn't start at all.

Where can I find the other launcher? All links I found where expired.

Our best answer is close and keep opening and keep rinse/repeat? I"ve done this over 50 times and my connect button is still grey'd out.

i put all the files in the war folder, but still nothing happens when I klick the launcher

after a while there ist a popup windows wich says the Launcher doesn´t work corret any more and it is gathering infomation but nothing happens

It is so frustrating. I tried everything and didnt even seen the launcher working once. I'm using a Mac with Bootcamp, can this be the problem. All other games and programme for Windows run fine. I don't use an antivir program and only the Windows defender. Do I have to do somthing with the defender? I installed DirectX but it didn't ask me for the version, so I couldn't install exactly version 9.0c how can I do this? I would be very grateful if you could help me.

Well for me it starts i can also login but i can not even create a character because i get a error like this when i click login on luncher.

i did the rebuild thing with cmd as admin, no luck.
i did the uncheck read only on folder, no luck.
downloaded the latest luncher still no luck.
tried with windwos 8 and even 7 compatibility with no luck.
tried to copy game to different folder with no luck still.

I will try to reboot pc just in case. It could be that and that is why i dont have access to create a character because beside the server word in the main screen there is none available but on the luncher it says web and login servers are up.
