Oh, on 2nd thought...
How's the situation with Desto tanks?
If my memory serves me well, in the original WAR:
Chosen were somewhat similar to KotBS, if only less plumage, Blackguards (after some patches) were nigh-unstoppable killing machines that were able to accumulate some ridiculous amounts of toughness, and Black Orks (imo) were the toughest and hardest to kill (I just remember when we had full RVR battles on Volkmar server, even if the fight was several raids vs several raids, BO tanks were the only ones who could survive, being in the middle of the it all).
Has the situation changed there?
And in general, does the game lack tanks or healers on either side?

Re: Return of the tank
Chosen like kotbs are absolutely indispensable to groups due to their auras, and while they cannot buff their groups as strongly as kotbs they are still good.
BO while considred "weak" on live, here on RoR the tank is considered very strong, and provides a lot for the group in terms of stat steal, CC with the 30 ft snare, has a morale build tactic and can put out very good dmg for a tank
BG is a little weird atm if you go tough tactic yea you can be really durable and yes the class has the longest KD in the game and a core super punt unlike other tanks that need a tac slot for it and has the tools to be a healer harasser and anti mage tank
