The server cap is 1200. It works on the basis of "first come, first serve". Reserving places for people who've "been long time players" wouldn't be fair nor would we ever consider doing such a thing.

Just keep trying until you get on.

Yes. The only reason as to why we didn't increase it tonight is purely because there's already a lot bugged/not working that we expected. Adding the possibility of the server crashing due to too many people in game would be kinda bad for us :P

Would it be easily possible to add a queue to the login?

Like back in the days, when WAR launched, and all servers were full. It would add to the nostalgia hype!

Play NA time. Plenty of room. :( Tried to find a group to attempt to get my archmage ranked up through tier 3, but no one there. Crickets. I gave up and played DAoC on Uthgard with my husband.
Order only. Just High Elves.

Funniest part is, in some instances when players got banned, they Said something like: yeah i did something wrong, but do you want to really reduce the dwindling number of players?

Well It seems that 1211 players are quite a number of dwindling. :)

A lot of people were waiting for the keep bug to be fixed. I would imagine that now it is fixed, people will start coming back to play. Given time the population numbers will be better, but obviously the server cap needs attending to, to allow for more people to be on simultaneously.

I can't confirm when this will be, it's entirely the decision of the Devs and they alone can only confirm.
