I think you'll be able to play these games just fine.
Return of Reckoning runs smoothly on my laptop HP Pavilion dv6 and it's weaker than the one you linked.

Re: Laptop
I played on live with a thinkpad similar to that but like 8 years older by now and never had issues. You need to turn down effects in rvr sometimes but thats about it. Mmos like this are all about CPU, and since this games so old I bet you literally cant buy a computer today that cant play it, unless you buy some bizarre ripoff for <$100 off the street.
Of course if you plan on playing other games, like single player ones that need a graphics card, you want something better.

Re: Laptop
I always laughed at my brother and his laptop gaming... until I started university this year.
Now a laptop gamer and not ashamed of it. Also makes going to LANs (which I still do 2-3 times a year) much easier.

When you buy that laptop, I would invest in another 4gb that is almost the same speed & voltage as the 4gb installed in that laptop. Best thing to do is buy a dual channel kit $30-40 at Amazon for 8gb (4gbx2). AMD APUs perform so much better in 3d games when using dual channel ram. I have a HP laptop with a A8-4500 with the 7640g and switching to dual channel ram increased my FPS in all my games 15-20fps more and way smoother gameplay.
