I'd actually like a slight uptick in the droprates as well, so that the respawn rate of mobs can be decreased. i love it when i'm trying to get somewhere to test a bug, or look at 'X', or get to a quest mob to see if it works properly, and you have to kill 3-4 mobs to get through.
By the time you finish mob #4, mob #1 has already respawned. If you try and run through, well it usually ends very badly.
example: Greenskin T1 start area. you have to go into the gave and get 2 each, of 3 different mushrooms. Try doing that at the appropriate level and tell me how that works out for you.

I seem to be in the minority here, but I have no problem with certain items being rare or ultra rare. It took me eight days of farming (several hours per day) to get my blue cloak on Destro, while popping in and out of SCs. Twenty minutes after the blue dropped, a green cloak dropped for my alt.
When I farmed on Order, 3 cloaks dropped for me in three weeks. I don't see any difference in drop rate between Order and Destro EXCEPT that there are TONS of mobs that could drop the cloak for Order and very few that drop them for Destro. As a result, I've seen Destro players fight overs spawns quite often.
Stick with it, and you'll get it. If you're not serious about getting it -- and you don't farm -- look for it in the AH when it works. Though you likely will be sticker shocked.

Nobody has a problem with items being ultra rare, but they have to be worth it. 41 hours for a particular item? That's a full week of work for most people.

stealth, that's all good that you enjoy that. However, some of us don't. I'm not trying to talk down to you or anything, so please don't take offense. I have zero desire to sit and pull the same group of enemies over and over while clicking a button for hours on end. I admire your dedication, but my free time is limited and I want to have fun when I play.
That being said, this is an alpha and we should be more focused on "what works, what doesn't, what could be improved, etc." rather than grinding for gear.

Still, they should up the drop rate ^^.

No offense taken, Dingar. I wouldn't say I enjoy farming. I agree with you about alpha -- Because it's alpha, I like to play and compare classes I otherwise wouldn't play. I have six on destro that need gear. I also have given away lots of gear. Farming is something to do between SC pops. That said, I got my last piece tonight -- so my farming, mercifully, is done.
Back to the point of this thread -- Wouldn't bother me at all if the loot rate were upped. Wouldn't bother me at all if it weren't.

God yes, I used the recall book on my r4 slayer to ekrund. Tried to run to the chapter 2 area across the bridge. Died training first, then tried killing my way trough. The orks and gobbos are so close together I couldn't pull 1 without 1~2 more joining and then the repops appear. Even dieing half way across the bridge still respawned me back inside the mountain. I was effectively stuck until I hit r5, which took a long time killing r2~3 npcs

I agree with stealth. If you don't want to farm you won't get the item. People not having a particulair item is really just too bad for them. People act like there somewhat entiteled to them and we all deserve to run around like twinks. #easymode
