Warhammer isnt a hard game to pick up. On live most people had mains at renown 100 with all the best gear and consumables so you were more locked into a class than you are currently here. So just try all the classes out.
My tip would be branch out try a tank or a stealth class if you dont usually play them.

Of course I have a BG, it's the most fun tank of them all, but my fingers do get quite tiredNidwin wrote:Didn't you roll a BG, Zabis, back then?

Re: Never played Warhammer - Tips?
hey guys,
I'm also new to the game and I've been wondering how to play the game effectively.
so, the fastest way to lvl is by doing RvR? and better to go for scenarios or fight in an open world? or it doesn't differ so much? I realised that leveling thru PvE would take months, as many quests or PQs are bugged.

Leveling through a mix of open world and scenarios is best. It gets you a better feel for how to play the game correctly, being that this is a RvR game, and you need currency from both open world and scenarios to be able to acquire all of the gear available.

Re: Never played Warhammer - Tips?
if you've played other pvp mmos in the past, then warhammer is very easy to pickup/excel at. the general skill required is low and most classes are relatively easy to play (apart from 5 or so that require quite a lot of user input to get good results). you can level primarily through pvp, but the best way imo is to complement rvr with scenarios and the occasional bit of pve.
