If you're talking about "fukface", they weren't able to still play on the same account, they created a new account to resume playing. That's called ban evasion.

I'll add that the player in question decided that after Fukface was renamed, he'd make ANOTHER character called Fukface and bitch about the rename.

I don't really think this particular situation was handled all that well, I'll agree, but something like that is just kicking the hornet's nest.

to be entirely fair .. its not like its something we shouldnt have expected given the way he /she named the toon.. i mean.. calling out someone for acting like a ****, when their name is fukface is kinda redundant....

its not like the behaviour wasnt telegraphed in advance now was it

imo situation like this calls for a perma ban on toons before you even put the coffee on to read the newspaper and watch the news

Because the existence of other characters which break a given rule is no defense for an individual who breaks that rule.

We deal with things when they become a problem, so when the offending characters are reported.

Not meaning to Derail, he wasn't purposely evading his ban as he was never kicked off tyhe account that was banned in the first place. He was still actually able to log in and play on that account during the 3 day ban..I was merely stating who ever banned him didn't do it correctly or something. Maybe bans need to be enforced by IP and not by account then? Especially if anyone can evade a ban by creating a new account.

searching in armory for that puts me in mind of the following quote..

Well, those 20 results are all under level 20 (except one level 26 guy). Either they havent logged for a while, or those accounts were already banned.

I am just happy it's here and working. I feel that I am being allowed to play in the cool kid's backyard. I could be told to leave for any reason, doesn't matter. It might not seem fair, but then again, it's not my backyard.
