In order to use PTT you need to download their app. I'm not sure what in browser one actually does.

I'd say the UI is better than Ts3 but the sound quality is not. I haven't had a disconnect yet on either TS3 or discord.

You just need the application.

Fine tuned mobile support, able to drop files/pictures straight to discord chat without having to link etc. Its endless, discord has a lot of functionality that TS doesn't and its ease of access for just copy and pasting server links makes it seem a lot more fluid.

Granted, the guilds I'm in still use TS and Ill jump on when needed, but I'd rather be in discord. Its more of a hangout than just for voice comm.

Just scroll down on https://discordapp.com/ to check out the features. I was a bit skeptical when my buddy had to close his mumble server and we had to move. But now I'm loving it now and I dread every other VOIP program.
You can be on different servers and use discord as an IRC channel, join VOIP with a click from one server to another.


I made a discord server a couple of weeks ago and I have a couple of people online. It's just comfortable to use because having another server open in my server tab isn't much of a hassle.

Because first you need to write step-by-step guide with pictures(or even video guide) showing where to press and what to do. Otherwise most of the people won't bother.

Was refering more for pug groups, not especially for guilds or stuff like that, although anyone can join , ofc. Would be easier to SAY then Type (takes few sec but ... ). Anyway, got the ideea i think!

Yeah Discord is the bomb. I would rather not be on voice comms all the time especially if I'm not doing something right that moment with the guild or I'm playing another game. I just don't come into voice if I'm not already on and we're up to something. If we used Discord I could just use the voice channel when I need it and just hang out and check the text notifications when nothings going on.
