incredible wrote:Mainly, due to the movement of the heal debuff to 9 points in the tree (previously only 6) and the reduction of Festering Arrow resistance bypass to 50%, shadow warriors now have one and only one spec and playstyle – a spec up the skirmish tree as a single target dps.
Having played SW for two years on live (mainly as assault) I tend to agree, but for example Aussault is pretty tough to play and useless pre-lvl40, so it depends.

The main nerf that is not good is Festering Arrows, of course: As scout you badly want to have this at full power.

Not sure how many play scout as full caster-killer, but I just assume there were a lot of complainers... ;)

Not sure why the heal-debuff needed to be moved, though...

Well, bad gas is AoE so I guess this makes sense as a counterbalance. Plus DoK's can group cleanse SW dots but warrior priests can't cleanse squig dots.

Flanking shot probably wouldn't work with the positional requirement so you would have to remove that component from the aoe splitting effect, just positional on the main target.

Overall, I'd say workable. Might be a bit of a nerf with taking 30% damage to all your skirmish abilities though.

No.

If there was no similar skills whatsoever on order, bad gas was not melee and so on, then maybe.

But Shatter Limbs exists and it happens to be a Slayer skill.

Well, Choppa has a single target cooldown increaser, so single target cooldown increaser to SW then?

As long as its melee, why not.

because its not reasonable at all for every other 50% inc hd in the game require 10 mastery points but SW's hence why it was raised to 9 points just like every other inc HD in the game

And we all already talked about why it is absolutely unacceptable to have 1 shots in this game so SW players stop bring this stuff up

single target CD increasr that requires 2h and blows your exaust and results in a significant dps drop unless you slot no rage drop and go full glass cannon basically necissitating mandatory guard and pocket heals at all times.

So are you willing to do that for a single target cd that requires you to melee to apply it and result in you doing significatly less dps for a duration unless you slot a tactic but which will make you even more fragile? All for an ability that is a mockey of shatter limbs? Further more why should SW's get a CD increaser when you already have the best CD increase in shatter limbs and the best cd decreaser in WW

Because fester arrow one shots are a really great addition to the game.
Zuuka - Okayzoomer - and many others
Khandikhaine/Ligmuh/Egf - Meatcircle - Ukruton - and many others

Talking about one-shotting. Maybe I should bring up how Sorc can one-shot SW with instant kill...! (And you know very well what I am talking about.)

Talking about balance and such...

Hypocrisy at its best.

Sorcs can't one-shot anyone. Can't believe this still needs to be explained in 2016. Oh well, i'm sure someone will come and explain the difference between one-shot and a full rotation.

No i dont for 2 reasons, i dont play sorc therefor i dont know what what particular ability sorcs have that deals and instant 4k damage or so

what sorcs and bright wizards do have is a set up rotation of multiple abilites that all ticks together in one time stamp so that the burst occurs all at once

the difference between SW festerbomb and sorc/bw burst rotation is that when you see WoP or BB you know you have atleast 5s to clense/respond accordingly and stuff

this is completely different for a 100ft ranged ability that you have no warning of from where you'll you just need to do is pop VoN and M2 while the projectile is in the air
