Actually, its more like your current employer wants to no longer do direct deposit, and instead will write you a check... Also rather than every 2 weeks or 2x a month, he will now write you a check every 2 days days you work../.. Thats the equivalent. You end up (or I would) wasting money on gas, time to go to the bank....

Now imagine ONTOP of that, he also wont pay you for any time post-pay check, until you have cashed the previous one...

So say you dont go to the bank one day and sit on that check, you work the next day for free until you cash it...

This is what it feels like currently.... So many times I have all the kill quests done, but either am in a group who wants to farm SCs, or we are doing a keep defense or blah blah.... I end up sitting on them for a few hours or even until the next time I log in...

Even today, we got 21 kills in an SC, I turned in SOME of the quests, we ended up going to dwarf to test the PQ, turned in ONE quest to atleast cover the flight there... Went back to Emp cause a keep defense was going on (where we were before) so zero turn ins...

Its just a pain man. I saw Genis post.... making kill quests ONLY in that area / restoring "participate" quest... I would MUCH rather just bump all the kill quests to 40kills and 50 kills, then double the rewards....

So a total "turn in" for 1 zone would net you 1.5g, while only costing 25 silver for the flight. Also, now that you turn in half as often... You can focus more on playing the game and then turning in when you have time between things...


The ONLY liability I see here is once T4 comes, getting 50+ kills will take a LONG time versus right now... So once T4 comes, these would have to be bumped back down to 20/25 and the rewards cut in half....

I have already said, in this thread, that we will be adjusting the kill quests in the future. I.e. when T4 launches. We will also be bringing back scenario participation quests, and have already generally increased the gold loot for each player kill.

I don't think the gold is the issue honestly. It is the fact that there are soooooo many turn ins to do b/w sc's/rvr that you can never do them all w/out spending 2-3x the time turning in. Would it be that big of a deal to make it 1 npc per tier per map? like go to high pass, 1 npc other than gears, go to elf, 1 npc, go to dwarf, 1 npc?

Seems like a huge quality of life upgrade to people who make gold doing SC's and aren't huge fans of professions (what I had to start when gold b/c non existent)

It won't be an issue. The Empire/Chaos kill quest(s)) will only count kills made in High Pass/Talabecland. The High/Dark elf kill quests will only count kills made in Avelorn/Saphery. You won't have to fly to each zone every 25 kills because those kills won't apply to other quests.

The scenario completion quests will have a quest giver inside each scenario, and there will be a single turn-in NPC in a central location, probably the capitol.

Sweet. Sounds like a much better QOL fix... Hopefully the participate quest provides an ample reward... Without the flight costs it could greatly help!

So basically kill quests will be RVR only now....
You Que for SC, grab the quest from the guy on the inside of that SC, then once completed, you head to altdorf or IC to turn in? Rather than heading to all 4 quest locations to turn in 10+ quests...

Sounds like a WIN to me... assuming appropriate reward scaling

I actually stopped caring about kill quests with all my toons. Pointless, not rewarding in term of gold and experience. I only do the 50/50/50.

The kill quests do not offer much in terms of rewards. The xp you get is equivalent to 1-2 mobs killed.
