This ability really needs to be fixed, so you can't go stealth while having dots on you. On live dots/dmg broke your stealth.

It's completely ridiculous that a WH simply can stealth out of a fight with 3-4 dots on them - without those dots bringing them back into sight.

The same of course goes for the equivalent WE ability, if it does the same.

that is a completely false statement. Dots applied before stealth do not break it. Only DD does, aoe (has a chance to break it not sure of percentage) and ST will always break it.

Didn't dots use to have at least a chance of breaking stealth? Was pretty sure it did. If not I of course stand corrected.

But I have been in melee fights with WHs that seemingly could go into stealth with lots of dots and direct dmg going on. Don't recall ever seeing that before. And it seems a bit broken.

Incognito and Shadow Prowler provide 2 seconds of grace when the cast completes and you are put into stealth. Any attacks hitting during this 2 second grace period will not break them.

Stealth had a LOT of issues with its initial implementation, just to list it for now how it works:
*Untargeted AoE will not break stealth.
*Projectiles will no longer break stealth upon the first 2 seconds of stealth like they used to.
*Every normal AA or targeteted Ability will break stealth instantly.
*Init on WH/WE actually has a use.
*Already applied Dot ticks do not break stealth, since it only breaks on directed Spells/Attacks.


the only thing that is different from live is that you have a minimal timeframe to not get unstealthed, but due to the laggy nature of the server and its playerbase this was a heavily needed QoL fix. Compared to every other MPDS that has charge, stealth is just subpar in the first place. Any anyone calling it OP or broken actually has no clue in my opinion. You can call it at least viable/valuable/useable for now.


Edit: ah yea aza was a tad faster with the grace-timer.

Yeah, I just went looking for old Warhammer threads about this ability - and apparently it was also like this on live. My bad - and I stand corrected.

So apologies for my little complaint. Please ignore it. I just gotta hit harder and faster next time!

I remember on live Magus Seed of Chaos sometimes used to put me out of stealth,when I think it shouldn't have. Can't check or confirm the same interaction here, can anyone test it out?
