Dear DPS Healers.. from Us

easy question for those who wants to dictate the way to play this game: who are you to decide how every player should play?
if you a pugging, deal with it but dont try to force others to dont enjoy the game as they want.

Yelling at a DPS healer in an SC for not healing is like yelling at a WL in your group because you have no healer, they are playing DPS. Hate the game not the player, SC's have needed role based ques since 5ever.

And classes like DPS AM can heal, and should try to help when they can. But there is no reason to try to go full healer when you are running a dps build/gear/tactics.

The differnce is that no dps tank or healer will do as much damage as WL.

But yeah, people should play whatever they want.

I am not part of the *US* in this title - Healers, are the most important class in the game, they are the only ones who can keep us up and res, so they should do just that, wanna dps roll a dps class, the only reason to roll a dps healer (DoK and WP not included obviously) is to keep YOURSELF up.

did you hired me or i am missed something? Nobody outside your friends/guild/party should do anything for you. There no difference in bad scenario if DPS AM will play as any other DPS. Result is same. Well maybe exDPS AM will die more.

So blame only yourself for playing solo.

Its correct that people have to play the way they want, but based on my latest experiences with pugs and random SCs in T2, i appeal on those you want to go dps WP/AM to focus on healing your mates andjoining the groups for buffs/groupskills. for the sake of our collective success!
Destro seem to have constantly healers in SC, thats what i witnessed the last days

so you asking DPS specced AM for heals? Do you know how much he is able to "heal" in such spec? It's near to useless. So no, it's doesn't help to "collective success". Making proper party before joining scenario - yes.

Don't dps healers feel kinda missplaced in a SC where they are the only class with heal abilities? i would at least feel some kind of responsibility to hold up the party? i don't see that.

my latest main character is a dps DoK. After reading your post i will use a chalice to heal the garbage pug dps. sadly i cant heal those order pugs who runs fbb over 5s BB.

Its my opinion of which i have a right to, as you do - I didn't say i did play solo, and saying healers shouldn't heal others is well..........not sure i have the words for that.

Remember to heal low level mdps first!

Unguarded Slayer/Choppa in the middle of the enemies, should be healed first.

OnTopic, my thoughts exactly. This is the game with the Holy Trinity - tank, damager, healer. If someone want to play game w/o any archetypes - let him go play GW2, where tank could heal, where heal could tank.

The only healers that are designed as a pure healers though are the Runepriest and Zealot. WP/DoK and AM/Shaman are designed to allow for a more hybrid play style. The player base has just never been able to handle that fact. Personally, I think the OP mechanic of the BW/Sorc, and later Slayer/Choppa had a lot to do with this and quite frankly still does.

it also amazes me that people think because someone rolled a healer they should be their pocket heals. It also amazes me that people demand a healer to do nothing but heal. Then, they refuse to protect said healer and do not peel, guard or otherwise assist healer when under fire. The best part is as the healer is running back they are screaming where are my heals and you healers suck! They then get all hot and bothered when that healer goes screw it I'll protect myself and switches to dps.

If you think that does not happen on a daily basis you are not paying attention to scenario chat. Orvr it does not seem to be as large an issue.

I totally agree with this, the healers should always be protected and guarded, again its part of working as a team, for me on my WE my time is split between trying to kill their healers and protecting ours, a dead healer heals no one! other healers should be dotting up eachother, and a healer should always be ressed before anyone else in the WB i think it all comes down to teamwork in the end - you heal my back and ill stab anyone else in theirs lol
