We actually have Canadian players in the guild that play our EU times

Recruit more North American players.

I gave it a try, went in circles.

Come play! -> but there's no players during my primetime -> so come play anyway, to attract more! -> but there's no players.

It's not done -> were fixing things every day! -> it was all imbalanced anyway -> well be doing balance changes later, once we're closer to being done -> but it's not done yet.

You guys should create a subreddit ran by the devs for this server. Path of Exile did it and it was pretty successful. As weird as it sounds I can promise you it will bring in new players from that community both NA and EU. You could also reach out to streamers about your game, because even if you only got 1 of them to play... people watch and that 1 person turns into many.

There is also a thread up on 4chan that just revived, of course the kind of "discourse" you will find there will mostly be as you would expect :^), but still fun and certain discussions that would never happen without anonymity will pop up and if you can sift through the shitposting you can find gems.

It's something we're looking into, but we are nowhere near as large a community as Path of Exile, or other reddit-entrenched games (like Smite), and there's a risk of fracturing our community and demanding too much staff time for management and moderation. I think reddit has a lot to offer mainly due to the upvote system, but we're all volunteers and there's something to be said for keeping all important discussion localized.

They are well aware of us.

1. We advertise heavily everywhere, and make no attempt to hide what we're doing
2. Every 15 year-old kid that gets banned thinks that emailing GW's legal department will somehow get us shut down.

IF im on during EU time i RVR otherwise when im on NA time i do SC's. Can get it all in. But I do agree we need to spread the word to more NA players
