Specified executable is not a valid application?

I apologize if this has been answered already, I tried searching the board and nothing came up.

Just downloaded the launcher and got this error message:

Error starting: System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005): The specified executable is not a valid application for this OS platform.
at System.Diagnostics.Process.StartWithShellExecuteEx(ProcessStartInfo startInfo)
at RoRLauncher.Client.Handle(PacketIn packet)

What's the OS? What C++ packages do you have installed? You can check that in add/remove programs. Is DirectX 9 installed?
