[Warrior Priest] Crit chance for Wrath WP

New player here. LOVING THE WARRIOR PRIEST! however..after reading through forums it looks like Wrath is not going to perform well... couple questions.

1) Can you make a crit focused Guilty Soul build? it LOOKS like it would be fun, but i havent noticed "crit" gear so far (im about level 20). Not even talismans. So is it possible to get crit up enough that this is worth while?
2) Do DOT (specifically "Soulfire") attacks have a chance to crit with each tic to proc guilty soul on each tic with an inflated crit rating (assuming you can do that)?

3) basically am i completely wasting my time because 2h hammers are freggin sweet!?
