WL or should i go slayer?

Im just starting the game, i liked wl a lot, but i see many complains, should i go slayer instead? or there is a viable build for wl right now? Which one is it? Ty in advance

Throw a rock, hit someone complaining about something. Lots of keyboard warriors on the internet. Plenty of people play WL as a solid MDPS class. You'll be fine.

As an honest opinion from a person that played WL on live and on this server, Do not roll a WL for now. After spending months and hours leveling and playing my beloved WL, its recent changes have rendered it useless in relative comparison to any other mdps. Damage: very low, survivability: zero and pet: broken. Don’t waste your time until there is a possible future class balancing adjustement. Also let us know your name we can help you level and what not
