Current Leveling Status

Hello gamers,
Just wanted to ask some advice/tips on how to level efficiently/appropriately for the current server progression. I am in the midst of leveling an ironbreaker, primarily because of what I read on the forums and reddit about how order needs more players, and also after reading about the 3rd Bitterstone Thunders...which sounds like the coolest thing one can do in an MMO.

As everyone probably knows, T1 was ezpz, with SCs popping and enough open RvR to get some emblems and gear. Now that I have entered T2 (currently lvl19/rr18) its been much more difficult, as I primarily game when the server is quietest (US West). I want to get to 40 and game with the rest of the server, but I know one must PvP in the this game to stay with the curve as you level. Is my best option to grind it out PvE, and do SCs when I can? I am afraid ill be so behind in RR that ill be totally useless once I hit 40.

race pairing quests and quest kills give x3 xp.
despite everyone says too low RR is bad thing, i prefer fastest 40. for all the skills and tactics.
though slow lvling gives more time to learn class.
there are pros and cons, pick whatever you want.

Following Information is how I handle leveling up at almost all my alts.
I dont really like to grind exp alot but there's some weakspots at certain levelranges I try to skip.

After t1 your first priority should be the 50% mount.
Bolster in open rvr really sucks at 16-20.
While resistances scale, a flat debuff put on you will drop your resis to 0 mostly.
Investing in 1 stat heavily (toughness for example) is inefficient since you still have a really low softcap. Getting the second tactic slot at 21 opens up way more leisure and your statpoint softcap is with 575 at an acceptable level.
I usually grind up to 21, while doing the t2 epic quests. clicki for ror wiki
While grinding in your racial pairing aim for kill quests. If sc pop do them.

At 21 do Orvr as you please you gradually (as long as you update your gear from time to time) stronger until rank 30, at around 28-30 you are above anhihilator gear(first pvp t4 gearset) in power level, since your bolster pushes you to a virtual rank of 48 still.
Enjoy the powerspike.

At rank 31 you drop, hard. Bolster pushes you only to 40, only 3 tactic slots yet, cant complete crucial builds + renown points are still gated behind your regular rank, sc will make you miserable at this stage.
Find a ruin grp and grind exp while getting the gear.

At around 34 you can start with 1 or 2 epic quests again (see link above),
Ruin gear+ epic weapons will put you in an ok spot for Orvr again.
Ofc you can always play Orvr but rank 16-20 and 31-34 is going to be the weakest youll ever be in orvr.

Ruin and epic gear starts to pan out the differences in power, do Orvr at 35+ again.

Start your Beastlordquests at rank38+ and look for people trying to form a BL grp.
These Bosses are not gated behind you having good stats, but rather using the right strategy to kill them.
Stack parry, anything that gives more parry, reduction in getting critted and take a kd with you and listen to the guy in the grp who knows how the bossfights work, ASK for the strategy, someone else won't know either, I bet.
BL quests give good exp and you want to do them anyway.

Tick 40 in Orvr and lag out during a huge fight, tell everyone, recieve praise, your toon is an adult now.
You also have farmed a good amount of gear to mix, ruin/BL and you should already be able to buy some anhi pieces.

PS:very good 3 piece jewelry set for tanks to be extra tough
