What is the Launcher downloading?

Hey

Im new to here and was wondering what is the launcher for RoR downloading. I downloaded everything from the MEGA download didn't I? Just seems really strange that I would download a 10gb file then have to download a whole lot more after in the launcher.

Anyways, hope some one can clarify.

It downloads changed files and puts them into myp archives. Game in mega is the one we got from Mythic, all changes we make in the client need to be downloaded through launcher.
