why norton banning the site?

norton connect safe blocked the site for 3 times right now when i try to conect site really dangerous to connect or got viruses or what is the deal?

I got the some issue. My Antivirus deleted the launcher, yike.

To the Devs I hope you guys don't let the Gobblins loose in our PCs....

It'll be a false positive. All these applications go over the top, when it's really not necessary.

It will claim the launcher is a form of "malicious application", but it's not the case.

It was very dangerous for me to connect, now I'm addicted again. My AVG did not warn me!

This sounds like something someone trying to get a malicious program on to my PC would say....im on to you.

The more "red symbols" an anti-malware creates, the better is it in the eyes of the average user (at least the marketing departement seems to think that...). So they create a lot of new "mechanics", that warn the user from any possible harm that maybe could be a damage to the user in any way. But if you look closer, these new mechanics and features seem to base mostly on guesswork and unreflected information that is spread unverified.
I don't say that anti-malware doesn't have a right to exist, but in my eyes the basic/traditional features + common sense is the best protection.
