Gamevox shutting down as of Dec 1st. As per a mass email they sent out.

Looks like they are offering a 75% discount for Teamspeak servers though. Make sure you have your alternative up and running before the 1st!

Interesting. Seems like some cozy Gamevox veterans need to move their butts soon.
We used Gamevox to coordinate warband leaders in one seperate voice tool seperated from teamspeak or discord.

I only know of 1 guild that uses Ventrillo. I'm on Discord, TS and Skype. I prefer Discord and recommend checking out Montague's MEME channel for quantity over quality posts.

I feel the same heart break, almost 1000 players through this game have been in or used our Gamevox server. But no need to worry for our community and guilds using our public server are now going to merge into a Discord Server. If anyone needs a new voice coms for a home let me know and I can make you and your guild channels as well, regardless of realm I keep realms separate.

Because... Why would you choose to use an up-to-date, free voice/text program that works flawlessly between a client, web browser, and awesome mobile app that all has easy interface and fluidity over something that is 15 years old and does everything much worse or not at all that you have to pay for.
