NPC line of sight ignore objects

NPC line of sight ignore objects

I searched forum but i didn't found any topic about this, i'm sorry if there is one already.
There is any chance to fix NPC's aggroing/seeing thru walls/gates/objects? Its game breaking especially for stealth classes, making Pick Lock ability completely useless 99% of time. Also at any keep attack guards/lord aggro thru walls, so its kinda impossible to control aggro. Should be harder to take a keep because player defending, not because champs/lord aggro thru walls.
Even in pve its very hard to do some quests who involve buildings, mobs will aggro from any level/room just based on range.

Issue is known, the devs currently can't do anything about it. They will, as soon they can, but any bypass would shift the balance for PvP. Currently they could make them obey LoS, but not walls.
Like White lions still would engage through walls, but squigs would have to run through a wall to get to their target and get killed easy, since they would have to obey LoS, but don't see walls as blocked path.. So WL would stay the same, while SH would get nerfed, by giving a possible bandaid. At least that's what I got from some statements.

Once they can modify the pathing of NPCs, they will fix it.

hm thx 4 the videos - did´nt know that instances would be possible with fine pet pathing - the other videos are also intresting as hell. guess somedays we will be able to get a good PvE for the time destro is still zergin altdorf all the time ;)

I dont see how applying LoS, like the game should have, is applying a band aid. IMO SHs just need to deal with it. It's not a nerf, it's the way it should be. You're right, WL would stay the same, and SHs would be the same as them now. Able to send pets through walls, but pet is able to be easily killed rather than the current situation where WL pet can be killed but SH pet sits back safely shooting through walls while nothing can be done to defend against it or kill the pet due to LoS.
