Cloudflare protection gone?

Whenever i accessed the website i got a cloudflare check before i could access it (not using Vpn).
Now i can access it without the checks but the servers are down most off the day sadly.
Is the check turned off or is it just a coincidence?

I know they cant take money for the server. How about a kickstarter to build a paperhat for his cat?
If he happens to have spare money after building the hat its not our fault
