Question on damage multipliers
Re: Question on damage multipliers
Also, when would do base test it was with 0 RR point, same daggers, no gear. So, always had a good idea of what things base damage looked like.

Re: Question on damage multipliers
I am almost certain is not the case but since it happens in so many other games i may as well just ask:
Does negative resistance/armor give bonus damage to the attacker?
Because if so, a bw + kobts or sorc+chosen/magus can put your resistance under 0.

Re: Question on damage multipliers
bloodi: No, it does not.
If anyone wishes to further dispute the damage values of the emulator, I will not respond unless you provide both a screenshot and a breakdown, using the combat formulas, of why the damage is incorrect.

Re: Question on damage multipliers
It is very hard to pinpoint anything on the matter. As sure, I have some screenies of mad BW burst in T4 hitting me. But that might be totally irrelevant for now, no idea of what the BW was sporting and kinda hazy idea of what I was wearing either.
Re: Question on damage multipliers
Azarael, your math is great and thank you for the time. But, you are doing nothing but backing my story and claims up.
Not sure how much toughness that mob has, but my shaman has almost 500. But, can still get hit for 2100+.
The issue is being able to hit for 2100 in T3. Once you add in more mastery points + 100- 150 magic power in T4 the gear creep is going to be large.
My point is you are missing 200 magic power and full mastery points from being RR 80 and still doing the same damage.
I have all my dps logs from RoR. I will start pulling them and collecting. I am more waiting for T4 to see if things fall in line or keep to scale. But, it really depends on what extra gear you put in.

Re: Question on damage multipliers
You can talk as much as you want, without actual screens of anything noone gives a single f actually. It just annoys the hell out of me that you seem to be ignoring every single message telling you that the resists in t4 will be higher - so will be toughness.
Edit: Just to add it. With 791 int my WoP overall damage is always 2110, on a lvl37 mob(1619 -491) or on a lvl 10 mob(1948 -162). Even with an int Value in the oranges the dmg wouldnt be a lot higher, so i wonder where you actually get your 2.2k crits from when you really have 500 toughness and capped resis like you claim. Because that would require the Sorc/BW to hit with more than 3k pre-mitig which is literally not possible from the serverside in the first place.
You also willingly ignoring the fact that i pointed out that the debuffs are NOT changing their values anymore up to lvl40 as well. The resistances allthough will rise by a few hundred points and therefore the overall debuff value converted to %resistance will be _lower_ in t4.shebali wrote: On live I had full debuff of almost no resistance and 150 toughness in T4 vs a RR80 BW with 1100 int with over 200 magic power. How can these two be the same damage.
