A witch hunter disconnected on me and I got a message. Does this flag him or anything?

Word of Pain and Boiling Blood are no longer able to proc anything. The Bright Wizard College has confirmed this is a big deal. (stealth nerf)

I think its more of a shaming thing to discourage people to do it. While it is against the ToS, without them bragging about (hard evidence) it can be hard if not impossible to determine if the DC was deliberate or just crappy internet.

The best solution would be to just have people ghost in game for ~15 seconds after disconnecting, and upon logging back in they are still dead or ported to the WC. But that is obviously more work for the dev team.

Whenever the next patch is, combat-disconnectors will die if there was any kill credit pending on them and split their rewards.

Such a simple and elegant solution. I like it.

Awesome as usual! Great fix for a hopefully less common problem from here on out. Thank you!

Once I realise I'm going down I rush to type some kind of final spoken message. It makes dying a lot more enjoyable.

I have DC'd in SCs before. It happens. As a tank, It's not often it's at or even close to me dying when it has happened and, for that matter, once I am able to log back in, I am no longer in the SC - so someone has no guard and I don't get a token :(

In Open RvR, it may be that the person has an SC pop, and as soon as they kite you long enough, to get out of combat, they take the pop. I'm not making excuses for the clear cut cases of PC rebooting you see when some players get to 5% health, but I am saying that server stability from the US can and does drop me and other players from time to time. And contrary to the bitching that happens in /ad, SCs do pop.

Cool. Will this reward splitting affect suiciders by fall/NPCs as well as DCers?
