you mean after the spend 4 or more weeks to grind out for full deva? which they have to fo for multiple toons if they have alts?

what make you think they will go back to quasi dead t2 when theirs sooo much fun grinding to be done in t3
Many reason. To try another class, for example.

yeah... no

You already had 2 tiers to try a new/other classes, you know perfectly well that the grind in t3 is too great to support multiple alts

penril gave the quintessential example of why in the other thread

I think speeding up EXP gain makes sense for WAR. I'll add that I'm entirely new to the game, but as an MMO vet I think I can still throw in my two cents.

Since WAR is PvP focused, and since RoR is doubling down on that PvP, there is really very little attraction to PvE. I just started playing the game and I only do the PvE while I wait for a PvP queue to pop. I like the world and all...it's just that experiencing WAR PvE in a kind of dilapidated (no offense to any of the devs!) form isn't why most people are here.

Why not have like 3x-5x XP events every week for all sub current tiers? This would promote everyone to play in lower tiers during those times and make them very alive. Old and New players alike would have a populated area to play in, and both would benefit from the increased XP reward which is also the driving force making them want to play there/then.

Yeah you could just add kill quest npcs that give big quest rewards of exp

I enjoy having at least one dps, tank and healer on both realms, so i can play whatever my premade needs when i log. Dont have much time though, so since T3 got introduced i have leveled 2 tanks to around 29. I dont even care about influence rewards, renown or SC weapons. I just want a way to level really fast, buy some PvE gear at the AH (since it has no renown requirement) and continue playing with my friends in a group.

Some time ago i suggested having a +X% XP bonus for each character you had at max level. So while the first few alts would take pretty much the same time it takes now, the rest would level up faster. I also suggested giving a renown/influence bonus for having several characters from your same realm at max level. This would help with X-realming.

Example:

- You have 3 destro characters (on the same account of course) at level 31: You gain +25% bonus to XP/inf/renown on all your Destro characters from that account (not on your order characters though).
- 6 destro characters at lvl 31: +50% bonus on XP/inf/renown on your destro characters
- 9 characters = 100% bonus
- 12 = 150%

This accomplishes two things:
1) Altoholics will be able to level their characters faster.
2) There will be an incentive to play mostly one realm. Won't eradicate X-realming, but i'm sure it would help mitigate it a little.

Of course there are always detractors. Some guy was like "yo, why do you want to punish me if i only play one character?". He failed to understand that:
a) Players who play only one character will get to max level/inf/rr way ahead of people playing several alts, even with those bonuses.
b) They aren't getting any penalties to XP/RR, so they are NOT being punished.

Oh God, just let there will be 26 lvl directly after 12 and let close T2 - this is basically the same of that you are asking for.

It is nowhere near the same.

I like the idea of exp books or a /level function, give people the option to speed things up if they want to. You can do it like they had on DAoC, once you have a level 31/40 on the account, you can /level a character to 22.

This isn't retail, there is no sub, we don't need to prolong the leveling process to get that extra 15$ out if them.
