Back to eye shot, there is no denying it is a strong ability that given many situations will cause alot of frustration and will be seen as OP. Any good player who has knowledge of playing rdps classes here will play a sw and say how OP they are and easy to play compared to other classes.

We are in alpha state, why not make this change and see how much of an impact it has ? its not like sw's are lacking or are seen as inferior.

The nice thing is that this is clearly a post from someone who got rolled by Eye Shot and forgot the Stop Drop n Roll, the difference being that the BW isnt availabke yet.

What next? Mara pull complains? Pounce? Run Away tactic?
And still the most crazy thing, which is getting 1 shot by a skill, even with moral 2, in a pvp game you dont say anything...?

Let the games balance itself...

Sw is by no means op, just really annoying to deal with, one might say toxic.
That's not the same.

Same for sh, who is way more obnoxious against light armored targets (bws love him), but lacks a bit cc and fester.

Just because you're annoyed by a skill doesn't mean it is op. (So taking it away without giving smth. back is bad)
Hell, I hate fester, but it's more a gimmick and not a valid strategy to win fights.

I didnt forget, stop drop and roll is a 14 point mastery skill and requires target to be ignited(which is pretty much a non issue but bad players will be caught out at times) , eye shot is a basic ability, which is the only skill that does direct damage, debuffs a stat and has a cc effect all in 1(correct me if im wrong).

I have been rkd - zerged, rkd - fester bomb many times as im sure others have to, sometimes it gets me killed sometimes it doesnt, still doesnt deny that eye shot is an amazing ability that most would label as 1 of the OP skills.

As for let the game balance itself, sure 90% of stuff is fine but there are certain abilities/tactics that would be seen as OP or atleast alot better then there counterparts, eye shot being 1 of them. You dont need to wait for rank 40 rr80 to see as most of us experienced it before.

Sw would be 1 of the easiest classes to play and be successful on, most ppl would label them OP.

I didnt say take rkd away...just to tweak it so it doesnt get used in situations where it would be seen as OP.

Fester, my feeling is any skill that has the potential to 1 shot is complete bs in a pvp game, right now you lose the heal debuff so its more for bad sw's but none the less it is a skill that would be seen as OP due its potential to 1 shot players

It does feel pretty cheap to get RkD something akin to getting pulled. It's just something the player can't usually avoid in big fights which leads to frustration. I hate being ini debuffed it just makes you so squishy.

Even with all these factors I'm not sure if I would change the skill. If they didn't have a kd I'm fairly sure id run over most of the sw I see solo.

Yup, which is why im not for removing it but only having a frontal requirement for the kd to trigger, the mdps pushing towards the sw will be facing them so the rkd would take affect, but that guy trying to escape a number of enemies will no longer be "eye shot" and kd from the back.

you mean like EF granting 100% parry? :P

Having said that look, at its core this argument is clear cut and dry, one realm has access to an extreamly powerful tool that is multiple sources of RKD and the opposing faction has no real access to it what so ever

simply make one of SH's abilities an rkd at the very least

and no dont tell me that bullshit with maras "rkd" and i dont want to hear that nonsense about racial tactics and run away being used to justify everything
