even the hardcore RvR guys Roleplay like mad fools. I can't get through ORVR without 300,000 think out loud macros spamming /say chat with all sorts of WHO based taunts and jokes.
What was the point of the original post anyways? Did he die in ORVR?

Re: Some things about today´s RP event.
Interesting feedback and of course is always welcome.
It's the first time that "roleplayer" events have taken place on RoR. In fact, previous events have taken place within the RvR lake with the same conditions. We paid close attention to the community's feedback on it and no one raised this issue before. The critical feedback mainly was about promoting it more efficiently, and as you mentioned clearly outlining where it would take place.
Of course, it's work in progress and teething problems may occur due to it.
I'll also like to mention that "smaller scale" events took place within RvR lakes. They were primarily focused on PvP and trying to encourage PvP activity between both realms. Nevertheless, it's still a valid point that has some value.
As said by Natherul, if you do not wish to partake, you need not. If you feel that it disrupted your game time, that's fine. However it won't dictate how future events will be conducted. There is plenty to do in game and these events don't tend to last long.

Speaking about constructure criticism, i found the lack of midget punting mallets to be readily available to the destro side to be completely haram and against the lore.
3/10 would not punt.

Rhungk, what i dont get... how can a player in a game full of players be such bitter and complaining about an event in that game. Really, if it bothers you so much you should perhaps take an evening off. There will always be problems with masses of people in the same place, and i found it a reasonable try to force an attack/defense situation by suddenly breaking down the keep door. I spoke with a lot of people, all said it was fun and they had some good fights and a great time in general. The heroes werent unbeatable as you claim, i myself saw Kruff going down at least six to seven times.
If you think this was a roleplay event, you have no clue what roleplay normally is. Just because there was a storyhook, or there were "heroes" as giant characters there it wasnt a roleplay event. If we cry "Dwarfs of Ekrund" and the other side "Waaagh" or "Kill em all, ya gits" that doesnt make this a roleplay event either. There were lots of players just for the fun of it with no roleplay in their mind, just clashing of forces.
That said, there is an event perhaps once every two months... and you got nothing better to do then complain about it because you couldnt do your normal fights like you could do always? Unbelievable! Noone forces you to do anything, but to tell the devs investing their time to enhance the fun for us what they should do or shouldnt do is kind of really impertinent!

Problem is, i was already there, like an hour before the adverstisement, its not I do not want to participate, its like "ops i was already here and you auto-destroyed my keep gates when we have the initiative". At least you could let us a try to the keep.Elven wrote:

Dwarfs don't get punted?
Punt or Pull, you have to decide.
And after getting pulled into Norkalli 's lovely arms. It was most unlikely to get punted away again.
I had also a lot of fun.
This time the GM's used some movements to the BOs and later the keep to stop the back and forth of the beginning. Which was itself most of the part in rvr at the high king event. And which was becoming a little tiresome after the fourth time.

There's always bound to be some form of disruption. I wasn't in game to see for myself what went down. Then my personal response would be if in fact the keep offence/defence was directly effected by the "hero" where the opposition had no hero to counter act, that could be worked on.
Looking at what others have said in response to your point, I get the impression that everyone appears to think that rather you wish to suggest constructive feedback, it may not appear so.
I would advise any further suggestions go directly to Natherul.

Okay, you're the second or maybe the third person who says the same thing to me, maybe I misunderstood. I'm not complaining that the event was bad, that I did not have a good time or that it was not well thought out. What I am saying is, that the event has been very inopportune. Besides that it could have been postponed for consideration to an area that was already apparently decided, I do not know what you see as fun to zergear and to make funnels. To me that part seems boring and monotonous. Do roleplay, walk screaming phrases out there and fight, I like and I actually do, but anyway, the event should have been in a new area, or at least, have left a siege attempt.
