Error Installing

Hi all,

I downloaded the 5 part on the right, instead of the 10 part direct download. After everything was downloaded, I downloaded the patcher and put everything in 1 same folder.

The issue is that I'm getting the following error:

Basically, there's no WAR.exe in any of the downloaded folders. What did I do wrong? Both part 1 and 2 have the same art.myp file. Is this an error?

Just looking for any feedback here as I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

You need to extract part 1 using WinRaR or 7-Zip. This will use the remaining parts to create the WAR folder. Uncheck read-only on war.exe and data.myp, put the RoRLauncher in that folder and give it a shot.

Good news:
Did that and the game launches.

Bad news:
When it gets to the accept/decline the agreement it crashes tot he desktop. Going to look around and see if this is a known bug.

If you do not find a fix, I would suggest re-download the client using the 10 part download. Crashes to desktop can stem from a corrupted installation.

I can certainly try that. I noticed after I tried re-installing that some files seemed to have issues being unzipped. I think art.myp and world.myp or something like that. I suspect that's the cause.

I started downloading the 10 part and it took significantly longer to download even the 1st one. Does that make sense?

I have to download all 10 of these? Seems like it's going to take a good chunk of time. Is this about average?

So I Downloaded both part 1 and part, and I can't unzip them with 7zip. I don't know what's happening, but it seems I need to pass on playing if I can't make it work.

Can't because? Mind sharing a screenshot of your folder with parts, and the error you are getting while attempting to unzip it?
