Re: WB composition
The general composition most Warbands aim for is 2-2-2, which means:
2 Tanks
2 DPS
2 Heals
Per party.
In most cases, the 2 tanks are guarding the two frontline DPS, and can swap those guards around as needed if a healer gets pressured or focused.
You can win without this composition, and many pugbands (and even guild warbands) often do have to stretch comp a bit to adapt to whatever classes are available at the moment. Hope this helps!

Re: WB composition
Yes this Is helpful! Ty! The DPS should be Melee? Or Is a mixed with Ranged?
Re: WB composition
In many cases, yes, but you can use Range DPS too if you prefer or if that's all you have available.Naevium wrote: Sat Mar 29, 2025 12:20 pm Yes this Is helpful! Ty! The DPS should be Melee? Or Is a mixed with Ranged?
Many range DPS classes (like Shadow Warrior or Squig Herder, as an example) also have Warband-specs where they can play closer to/on the frontline, and they both benefit a lot from getting guarded in those builds.
There are also entire warbands sometimes of people who play one class (like Bitterstone's Engi Warbands) where they'll set up in a roost and snipe targets down one at a time. So it really depends on the situation / how you want to play, but having a decent frontline will give you the most flexibility!
