Launch Error named Data.myp keeping me from playing

Hello everyone, I downloaded this game recently and I am very eager to play but as I try to launch the game I get this following error. I have looked through this forum and I can't find a thread with the solution.

Data.myp:
System.InvalidOperationException: Det går inte att läsa in räknarnamndata eftersom det ogiltiga indexet lästes från registret.

The weird thing with this error is also that the game actually launches but I am not able to create a character at all because the option for that does not exist for me. Here is a screenshot how it looks for me when the game launches.

If you're getting this line of code in your error log:

You need to rebuild performance counters.
